Mais ce n'est pas n'importe quel synthétiseur modulaire ; voici la description sur e-bay (en anglais) :
Amazing analog system, formerly owned by Hans Zimmer . This is the main part of the monster synth that I received from Media Ventures Studios, the 2 wings ( in 4 smaller cabinets) having been sold. This particular model had been quoted in many books: Mark Vail / Vintage synths, Martin Newcomb / Museum of synth. technology, and the A-Z of analog synths. A big polyfusion is also pictured in the back cover of the famous “Toto IV” album (stage use!). The sound is very close to the Moog modulars, Polyfusion having been founded by 2 ex-Moog employees. Its powerfull sound blows away my 4-SEMs Oberheim in similar programs. Big modulation possibilities . Also quite logical and easy to set up, for a modular of this size. Totally compatible with midi systems (via Kenton ) or analog sequencers.
The new price is low for what it is: the other half of the total system has been sold for 11000 euros last year.
MODULES LIST : includes all standard modules produced by Polyfusion, and some very rare factory custom ones: > 5 VCO: one is factory custom with waveform select .(from a single output) > 2 VCF. Freq AND resonnance are volt. controlled. > 2 HPF with resonnance freq. AND resonnance are voltage controlled. > 6 VCA ( 3 dual). > 6 DADSR (3 dual) : 1 standard dual, 1 rare dual modular, 1 dual factory custom (the upper with 2 gate selector , the lower with 2 outputs selector and attenuator. > 7 mixers : each with 4 ins and + - outputs. > 3 LFO: 5 waveforms, control over PW and freq. > 1 rare quadrature oscillator. 4 outs, for complex modulations and panning effects. > 1 rare octave divider: for waveforms, pulses .. > 1 dual Sample and Hold. > 1 dual ring modulation. > 1 (spring) reverb. > 1 enveloppe folower. > 1 phase shifter. > 5 multiples ( 3 X 3). > 1 variable filter bank: 3 x frequency / Q /Level.( PS-3300 style). > 1 5 bands Parametric EQ: 5 x frequency / Q /Level.+cut / boost.(see close-up photo ) > 2 bipolar attenuators: X 3. > 2 variableDC source x 3. > 1 keyboard output controller, with pressure, dynamics, X/Y controls > corresponding to the polyfusion keyboards wide possibilities.(or Kenton or analog sequencer ). >3 power supplies. All modules are fitted in trails, and are easily moved .
The weight is around 80kg !
